WHO I AM
…. I mean, part of who I am I guess.
The Short.
I am a man. One who believes in providing, protecting, and standing in my divine masculine energy.
I am a father. To two incredible boys that teach me so much while I attempt to give them the tools to live a life improved on my own.
I am a leader. An owner of an agency that is blessed to employ many creatives and giving them a platform to create and grow through their art.
I am an entrepreneur. Finding my passion in creating new things that add value to people and helping them win.
I am connected. To the divine. To my intuition. To nature. To those that have come before.
I have lots to learn. And everything I share on my platform is as much for me as it is for you.
The Long.
My name is Clayton.
What most people will tell you about me is that I am confident, independent, strong, supportive, influential, intelligent and someone always pretty sure of themselves. I said confident yeah?
And they’re right. Mostly.
But, I am also at times, unsure of myself, lost, scattered, lazy, apathetic, self-destructive, weak, and basically the opposite of the best version of myself.
What always remains is the confidence though. And not just self-confidence, because that can disappear at times, but confidence that everything will work out because I will make it work out.
My experiences to this point have bolstered that belief.
I grew up in Sydney Australia, and most my childhood is made up of repressed memories. Nothing too sinister, probably nothing really out of the ordinary for a lower middle class family in Australia. There was public housing for times, a young Mother doing her best who struggled to make ends, a Father I rarely saw but imparted some of his better traits, a series of other male father figures that struggled to connect to another mans offspring but tried their best too, the fireworks of domestic abuse, and the low decaying hum of mediocrity and a family heritage of under-achievers. Low expectations.
At some point, I decided to become a creator. And I would go on to create my life.
I’ve done the pay-the-bills jobs that most creatives do. I’ve worked in bars, in retail, in strip clubs, in gambling dens, in grey corporate office booths doing customer support.
And had my stint as a professional musician.
And I had a 6 month back-packing trip around the world, taking a bazillion photos.
But for most of my 20’s I just existed. Feeling a bit lost but with enough to just go through life and enjoy myself.
It wasn’t until my early 30’s that I decided I wanted more. That my obligation to this world felt beyond the daily actions I was taking.
I had spent 2-3 years working my way up in a creative production house, from shit-kicker customer support to becoming General Manager of studios across 3 Australian states, with offices in LA and New York.
Then the business crashed. The Director had developed certain habits that stripped it of its assets.
I had a week to decide to start my own business.
And with the unwavering support of an incredible women and my intuition telling me it was the right path, I took the leap.
I had little to no clue what I was doing.
So I focused on people. How do I treat people as best I can and help build them up in all the ways I feel they need.
It’s a strategy that continues to work. I swear, everything else takes care of itself when you focus on just doing the right thing by people.
Fast forward a decade or so,
I now own a mountain in the Byron Bay Hinterlands, one of Australia’s most sought after paradise villages, with my wife and 2 boys, completely connected to nature and living on our own terms.
I own a content production agency I built from zero that’s done over 20 million dollars in revenue and employees 60-100 people at any given time.
Through that agency I’ve been able to pay over 10 million dollars directly to creatives to get paid to do what they love.
I own a nature based alternative education school that is empowering the next generation of warriors and challenging the archaic establishment of slave education.
I’ve helped hundreds of creatives find a place in their industry and build careers where they can get paid doing what they love.
And I’ve helped hundred of businesses, entrepreneurs and brands grow and make the impact they want on themselves and the world.
My body is strong. My heart is full. My spirit is connected to the divine.
Everything I have created.
I create how I react to certain events no matter how big or small, as much as I create the habits needed to live and do whatever I want to do in the next 5 years.
Do I do things perfectly? Hell no.
Am I anywhere near my full potential? Not even close.
But I’m where I deserve to be 100%. Good or bad. Based on my actions. Based on what I did and what I didn’t do.
I bet you are too.
Right now, I’m on a mission to pass on what I’ve learnt.
